To Support the instructional needs of HSC Faculty, Staff, Students and other Healthcare Professionals in Kuwait. The HSC library offers training sessions on the following databases:
Access Databases Consisting of Access Anesthesiology, Access Emergency Medicine, Access Medicine, Access Pharmacy, Access Physiotherapy and Access Surgery. Each database contains the complete text of leading reference books, board review test materials, images & Videos and an integrated drug database. Titles include: Anesthesiology, Tintinalli’s Emergency Medicine, Harrison’s Online, Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment, Pharmacotherapy: A pathophysiologic Approach, Dutton’s Orthopaedic Examination, Evaluation and Intervention, Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery and more.
BMJ Learning offers high-quality continuing medical education for doctors and other healthcare professionals. It is designed to help improve knowledge of medical students and Doctors across a wide range of specialties. Modules are peer-reviewed and evidence-based and include many different styles of learning such as videos, audio files, images and text. The learning resources deal with everyday issues in primary care and hospital medicine.
BMJ OnExamination is the leading resource for online assessment amongst health professionals and medical students. It offers highly efficient question marking & analysis engine that helps doctors and students revise for their examinations, helping them to focus on the areas they need to improve to pass their exams such as Medical Student Years 1 to 3, Medical Student Years 4 to 5, MRCP, FRCP, etc.

Off-Campus Access Provides information on how to access library resources off-campus through Athens (VDiscovery) and VPN (Virtual Private Network).
Online Catalog Provides information about books, journals, audiovisual material and eBooks of HSCLA collection. Learn how to locate resources and place hold requests on items.
