At a Glance

The Health Sciences Center Library Administration (HSCLA) has come a long way in providing to its patrons the most up-to-date electronic resources, user-friendly services, and the latest medical information. The Library is the main source of health information for the four faculties, which include Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Allied Health. Due to its extraordinary performance, it has received the best Administrative Excellence Award in 2011.

To go further with its advancement, the library has successfully initiated two new departments which are Marketing and Training. Moreover, the library continues to improve the university’s learning, teaching, and research activities. The HSC virtual library, along with its e-resources, are updated on a regular basis.

Library patrons are always welcome to use the Literature Search, Reference, and Circulation Sections. They are also provided with Inter-Library Loan service (when resources are unavailable at the HSCL), as well as, the remote-access service (which allows library resources to be accessed from office or home). The library offers a pleasant space for study in which librarians are always available for any inquiries or assistance.
